How does Ella prioritize schoolwork?

Ella Task Plan is an incredible tool for keeping students on track while helping them develop planning and scheduling skills. But how does Ella Task Plan really work? How does Ella prioritize schoolwork?

The short answer is that Ella takes into account all of the many factors that influence when students do their work. Free time, assignment length, due date, course grades, and more all help determine what Ella Task Plan prioritizes. 

The longer answer is that Ella prioritizes certain factors over others. An assignment that is due tomorrow will absolutely need to be completed before an assignment due next week. Similarly, assignments that are worth more and first attempts on assignments that you can try multiple times are generally scheduled before assignments that are worth less and/or have already been attempted.

For some, this may seem like common sense, while for others, the idea of scheduling schoolwork at all may feel outlandish. Many times the difference between completed schoolwork and missed assignments is as simple as knowing where to start!
