How do I create a test?

Modified on Thu, 08 Jun 2023 at 01:24 PM

Before we begin, let's come back to some important questions: Why does Ella do it this way? Why should I care?

Tests can have high stakes for teachers and students alike. A low grade for a student can be devastating while a low class average can indicate something is seriously wrong. Through Ella, teachers can relieve some stress for everyone by providing clear instructions, indicating related activities, providing grading information, and determining the means and duration of studying. Meanwhile, Ella works behind the scenes to make everything even more accessible.

The automatic study guide feature in Ella makes everyone's lives infinitely easier. When a teacher adds all of the related activities for the test, Ella will automatically create a study guide for students to review. Through Ella, teachers don't have to spend time making a study guide or constantly answering the question "will this be on the test?," Ella does it for you.

Any other special features?

Absolutely! One of the most exciting is the ability to customize study settings. Teachers can now easily add study instructions and assignments when creating a test. This includes indicating how long students should spend studying, which further reduces repetitive questions for teachers and provides Ella with necessary information to help students plan their schedules. Whether studying has a graded component, a required submission, or nothing at all, Ella has teachers covered.
